Fees

60-minute counseling session: $200

90-minute counseling session: $300

Day-long or half-day weekend intensive sessions for couples: $200 per hour

EMDR Weekend Intensives: $200 per hour

Forms of Payment

Payment is due at the time of your appointment. I accept most major credit cards, as well as cash and checks, in payment for professional services.

If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) or a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) through your employer, you may be able to use these accounts for counseling appointments. Please verify coverage with your benefits provider.

Do you accept insurance in payment for your professional services?

I am a private pay provider, which means I am not on insurance panels. I am happy to provide a receipt for professional services as an out-of-network provider if you choose to file a claim with your insurance company.

If you need lower rates for your individual and couples counseling, I recommend contacting my group counseling practice, the Relationship Counseling Center of Austin. The counselors at RCC Austin offer sliding scale counseling fees and evening and weekend appointment times to accommodate your busy schedule.

What should I expect at our first session?

Your first session with me is a time for me to listen to the particular issues and concerns that bring you to my office. We will discuss information that you provide in the paperwork that you complete at or before your first appointment, and I may ask some clarification questions about the information you have given. We will discuss your goals for your therapy, and I will answer any questions you may have. From there, we will discuss a plan for moving forward and scheduling of future appointments.
